We have one of the biggest selections of port wine in Portugal and a unique curated Douro wine list that includes entries you’ll find nowhere else. The Azorean sea is a unique place, with transparent waters, and there could be no better scenery than this to dive or take your first steps (or should we say strokes?) in scuba diving. There you will be able to observe several species of fish that live in the Azores or even explore the Liberty Ship Dori.
Test the artisanal practice of harvesting Flor de Sal in one of the salt mines of the Castro Marim wetland reserve with Jorge, salt artisan. Get to harvest your Flor de Sal, learn to taste the difference between industrial and artisanal salt and dive into the complex science of salt making.
The visit ends with a salt tasting and aperitif with typical Algarvian tapas.
So much to explore. Irrigation terraces and trails, by bicycle or on foot. Paddle your way across the lagoons or go canyoning downriver to discover waterfalls and more hot springs. On an island of volcanoes, a sea of people take care of the local fauna and flora and will show you how and where to watch whales and dolphins in a more sustainable and careful manner, as is our nature.
